Dennis Arouca carved out a career as a senior business executive in Industrial America, primarily in law, human resources, regulatory and government affairs, in Philadelphia, Chicago and internationally. His experience includes board of directors of a municipally-owned natural gas utility, education nonprofits, a regional sports congress, and economic development and investment corporations. Dennis’ industry experience includes industrial manufacturing, steel, transportation, railroads, airlines, trucking and government.
Dennis currently serves as a member of the Boards of Grand Traverse Economic Development Corporation; Northern Michigan Angels, Temple University’s Beasley School of Law, and the Grand Traverse Area Manufacturing Council. Dennis also is a member of the Industry Guidance Board for the Manufacturing Technology Academy in Traverse City. Dennis was appointed by Peninsula Township to the Citizens Oversight Board for the Township’s Purchase of Development Rights program.
Dennis holds a J.D. from Temple University School of Law, and is a member of several state and federal bars. He received a B.A from the University of Massachusetts, Phi Beta Kappa. Dennis also graduated from the Advanced Management Program of the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
